With the expansion, Faisalabad Cricket Stadium has now been included as one of the venues. The season will commence on March 26, and the opening match, along with the opening ceremony, will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which serves as Islamabad United’s home ground, has had its seating capacity increased from 15,000 to 17,000 and has been renovated for major events. This is why we will also see the PSL 2026 opening ceremony hosted in Rawalpindi. As for the pitch, conditions vary, and at times fast bowlers get assistance in the form of decent bounce and a bit of movement. However, once the surface settles, it tends to favor spin, and overall, it can be considered a batting-friendly pitch where batsmen generally have the upper hand.
If we talk about the dew factor, most PSL matches are played at night, and dew in Islamabad is common. This makes it difficult for the team bowling second to grip the ball properly, reduces movement off the surface, and makes batting significantly easier. Dew also increases as the game progresses, so teams winning the toss often prefer to bowl first, since defending becomes much harder in the second innings and chasing targets becomes more manageable.
Looking at scoring trends on this pitch, in the previous PSL season, totals between 170 and 200 were posted, with 170-plus being considered competitive. This venue has also seen scores in excess of 220. The highest successful chase on this surface includes a target of around 190.
Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

Gaddafi Stadium Lahore is the home ground of Lahore Qalandars, and this venue has consistently delivered exciting matches. Lahore, being the defending champions, attracts large crowds, and fans arrive in big numbers to support the team. The seating capacity of the Lahore stadium has been increased from 27,000 to 34,000 so that more cricket supporters can come and watch their team live.
As for the pitch, Lahore generally offers a batting-friendly surface with consistent bounce and decent pace, which results in high-scoring games and competitive totals. Early on, seam bowlers can get a bit of movement, and later in the innings spinners also find some assistance. However, overall, the surface tends to favor batting.
The dew factor plays an important role in Lahore and can change the course of a match. During night fixtures, heavy dew is common, which makes gripping the ball difficult for bowlers and benefits the batting side. Because of that, teams winning the toss usually prefer to bowl first, as chasing under dew becomes easier.
Talking about records at this ground, the highest total posted here is 245, and successful chases of 200-plus have also been achieved. As a result, Lahore offers high-scoring encounters and plenty of batting entertainment.
Multan Cricket Stadium

Multan is one of Pakistan’s oldest cities and has its own identity when it comes to cricket passion. Whenever matches have been held at Multan Cricket Stadium, the venue has remained packed. In past PSL seasons, Multan has even hosted opening ceremony matches, which reflects the popularity of the stadium.
Multan Cricket Stadium has a seating capacity of around 35,000 spectators and also serves as the home ground of the Multan Sultans. The pitch here is batting-friendly, and we often see aggressive starts and high-scoring matches. Fast bowlers get some bounce and a bit of seam movement early on, but spinners tend to go for runs on this surface.
During certain conditions, dew can also be seen in Multan, which makes the toss extremely important. In most scenarios, bowling becomes difficult because of the batting-friendly nature of the pitch combined with dew. This heavily impacts bowlers throughout the innings.
On this pitch, scores around 170 to 190 are considered competitive targets. Looking at PSL records at this venue, the highest total posted here has been 228, and we have also seen low totals as well. Teams playing at this ground often prefer to win the toss and bowl first, with the intention of chasing the target. Historically, the chasing side has enjoyed more success at Multan, and a competitive total at this venue is considered to be anything in the 180-plus range.
National Stadium Karachi

National Stadium Karachi, which is the home ground of Karachi Kings, has a seating capacity of around 34,000 spectators. At this venue, Karachi Kings are usually seen in action during PSL. However, when it comes to the crowd, Karachi often does not attract the same numbers as other venues, and in many PSL matches the stadium has appeared partially empty.
One major reason is the lack of modern facilities inside the stadium, along with visual obstructions that affect the match-viewing experience. Because of this, many spectators prefer watching the game on TV at home instead of visiting the stadium. National Stadium Karachi clearly needs renovation and upgrades so fans can return and enjoy live matches comfortably.
Talking about the pitch, Karachi generally offers a batting-friendly surface that favors high-scoring encounters. The bounce remains consistent, and over time it begins to benefit batsmen more than bowlers. If batters settle in, we often see big totals at this venue. Fast bowlers do get bounce and pace early on, but once a batter adjusts, it becomes a challenge for quicks. Spinners, on the other hand, can benefit from the grip available off the surface, especially for slower and more accurate bowlers.
The dew factor is also important in Karachi and tends to favor the chasing side. In terms of totals, 200-plus scores have been recorded frequently here, and a target of 236 posted by Multan Sultans was chased down comfortably in PSL 10. This shows that even big totals can be chased at this venue.
At Karachi, teams winning the toss usually prefer bowling first, since dew makes gripping the ball difficult later on and chasing becomes significantly easier.
Faisalabad Cricket Stadium

Iqbal Cricket Stadium Faisalabad, has now been selected as a venue for PSL 11, and we will see PSL matches being played at this historic stadium. If we talk about the venue itself, this will be the first time PSL fixtures are held here, and the stadium is currently being renovated for the tournament. The seating capacity at the moment is around 18,000, but it may be increased for PSL 11.
Since PSL has not hosted matches at this ground before, it is not possible to fully assess the pitch from a PSL perspective. However, based on past matches played here, the surface has tended to favor batting. It is generally considered a batting-friendly pitch where medium scores of around 170 are seen as competitive, and high-scoring matches including totals above 200 have been recorded in previous years.
From a bowling standpoint, this surface offers limited assistance to seamers and occasionally provides some grip for spinners. But overall, the pitch favors batsmen more than bowlers. As for the dew factor, it has not played a major role here previously, but since matches are returning after a long gap, weather and surface conditions have changed and may behave differently. Dew could come into play, but its full impact will only be understood once matches begin.
